About UsThe Bead Merchant is a wonderful bead store featuring a full selection of beads and jewelry-making supplies from around the world. In 2005, the shop has added a full selection of knitting & crochet supplies. As you enter our store, enjoy a relaxing atmosphere - take your time and check out the selection of beautiful gifts, enticing scents (of incense, candles and bath supplies), and explore beads, yarn, books and our collection of unique jewelry and handcrafted items.The owner of the shop, Renee Gomez lost her husband and business partner, Cesar, who died in February, 2005. Since his death, she has worked to expand the store offerings according to the plans they had made.  Renee and her staff invite you to ask questions and will give demonstrations on a variety of basic jewelry-making techniques. The store also offers a variety of classes in beading, knitting & crochet featuring instruction from local artists.
Renee's late husband, Cesar, was a native of Paraguay, South America and lived in the U.S. for 23 years. He is survived by Renee, their three daughters and a son who lives in Paraguay, South America.
